Join us on April 23 as we nominate Kristyn Wong-Tam to be our next Ontario NDP candidate for Toronto Centre!
As I’m sure you’ve heard, our beloved MPP Suze Morrison recently announced she'd made the difficult decision not to run for re-election in the upcoming provincial election – in 2019, she was diagnosed with endometriosis, and needs to take a step back for her health.
Since learning of Suze’s decision, our executive and election planning committee have been hard at work seeking out a new candidate for the 2022 election and preparing for this moment to ensure we keep Toronto Centre orange.
We have scheduled a virtual nomination meeting to select our new candidate on April 23, 2022. Please RSVP to receive the link.
Approved nomination candidate: Kristyn Wong-Tam
Join fellow New Democrats from Toronto Centre and across the city, alongside guest speakers, including Andrea Horwath and Suze Morrison, as we nominate our next Ontario NDP candidate and MPP for Toronto Centre.
We look forward to seeing you on April 23rd, and on the campaign trail to ensure we keep Toronto Centre orange!
Don't hesitate to contact us at [email protected] if you have any questions or have any accessibility requirements.
In solidarity,
— Your Toronto Centre NDP Executive

We are thrilled to share with you that we are ready to host our Nomination Meeting for the upcoming Federal Election. Whether the election is called in the coming months or not – we have been preparing and we will be ready.
We have one approved candidate who has agreed enthusiastically to be our representative in the upcoming election.
That individual is Brian Chang – a passionate advocate for our riding and an activist that is there for our many communities – day in and day out.
Our Nomination Meeting will be held virtually using Zoom. We will be sending a follow-up email with the Zoom link & call in info closer to the date for folks who've RSVP'd on our website.
All are welcome to attend the meeting, but only current party members living in the Toronto Centre riding can vote, so be sure to check that your membership has been renewed at tcndp.ca/join.
We are looking forward to seeing you there and supporting our fantastic candidate!
