Add your name to demand that the government immediately fund investment in public health and ensure that everybody in Ontario has access to fast and reliable COVID-19 testing.
The province has largely reopened, but testing in Ontario remains unreliable and unbearably long, with some waiting up to 6.5 hours outside testing centers. Parents, many of which don't have access to paid sick leave, are forced to take a day off just to wait in long line ups with their children.
It doesn't have to be this way. This pandemic hit Ontario right when the Ford Government was in the midst of cutting funding to public health, which had already been chronically underfunded by previous governments. Now is the time to invest in public health and ensure that the people of Ontario have access to the COVID-19 testing they need to keep Ontario safe.
