Brandon Kober

During my upbringing in a small, rural village, I longed for something more: a community that accepted my bisexuality, the pulse and diversity of the big city, and the opportunity to work for those in most need.

I am a Registered Nurse at a safe injection site in Toronto’s Moss Park neighbourhood. I see, first-hand, the worst impacts of poor policies on marginalized people. Working on the frontlines can be distressing, particularly when governments do not act to address crises from an upstream level by using the input and expertise of those with lived experience.

I am seeking the NDP nomination in Toronto-Centre because I believe that our systems are overdue for radical change. I would act with urgency to make Toronto, and Canada overall, greener, healthier, and more equitable so that everyone can thrive.

With your help, I believe there are bigger things to come.
