You're invited:
2025 Annual General Meeting (In Person)
Join us on Sunday October 26th at OPSEU (31 Wellesley St E) for our annual general meeting! This venue is wheelchair accessible.
For the first time, we'll be holding a hybrid annual general meeting – members will be able to join us in person, or virtually on Zoom, and participate fully in either format. Some procedures will be adapted from past AGMs in order to facilitate the hybrid format. RSVP here if you intend to join virtually.
Following the meeting, we invite you to join us for a social at the Well (487 Church St).
Note that as of the April 2025 federal election, new boundaries are in effect for the federal riding association. Some members may reside in only the provincial or federal Toronto Centre, and a different riding at the other level.
We'll hear from MPP Kristyn Wong-Tam on the work they and the Ontario NDP team are doing at Queen's Park, in addition to our 2025 federal candidate Samantha Green and Trustee Deborah Williams. Outgoing executive members will provide updates on the work we've done over the past term to organize locally.
We've also extended an invite to every official NDP leadership candidate to join us at our AGM; we're excited to share that we'll be joined by Tanille Johnston, Heather McPherson, as well as Tony McQuail. We'll update when we're able to confirm other candidates as well. You can learn more about all the official candidates on the NDP's website.
Meeting registration will open at 12:30pm, and the meeting will be called to order promptly at 1:00pm.

Party memberships and renewals are available online in advance of the meeting. Renewals can be done easily online. You may be asked to show proof of membership to participate in the meeting. Renewing today will also ensure you're eligible to vote in the 2026 leadership race!

We encourage you to wear a mask while in attendance at our annual general meeting. Masks will be provided if you don't have one.
