In March 2026, Canada's NDP will hold its biennial convention in Winnipeg.

In advance of this exciting convention, the Toronto Centre NDP will be electing our convention delegates to represent our riding association & debate policy resolutions to send to the convention for debate at a hybrid general meeting on Wednesday, January 14th. RSVP on this page if you intend to join virtually on Zoom; RSVP here if you intend to attend in personNote that the Zoom link will only be sent to members in good standing to have RSVP'd for the meeting.

All members of Canada's NDP in Toronto Centre are encouraged to attend. Note that the federal riding boundaries have changed recently, which were first used in the 2025 federal election; they differ from the provincial riding boundaries that have been used since the 2018 provincial election.

Please send policy resolutions to [email protected] by 11:59pm on Sunday, January 11, 2026 for consideration at this general meeting. We'll send out the submitted resolutions to attendees thereafter in advance of the meeting on Wednesday. Only Toronto Centre Federal NDP members in good standing may submit policy resolutions, and no more than 4 resolutions may be submitted by one person. If you are submitting multiple resolutions, please prioritize them in your email.

You can find the latest version of the policy book, as amended at the 2023 federal convention, to use as a reference, as well as the resolutions guide for more information.

To participate in this general meeting and to attend convention, you must be a member in good standing of the NDP. If you're unsure of your membership status, please contact us and we can check for you. Renewing today will extend your membership through the end of 2026 as well and ensure you're able to vote in the leadership election.
