Day of Action - Education & Safe Return to School
Join Toronto Centre’s phonebank for safer schools this Saturday from 3-5pm.We’ll be calling our neighbours and community members here in Toronto Centre to generate public support for a safe return to school for kids in Ontario.
Here is what the day will look like:
3pm - Callhub training
3:30pm - Welcome and remarks from MPP Suze Morrison and Farheen Alim, teacher and NDP candidate for Etobicoke-Lakeshore
3:45pm - Calling! (experienced callers will be on hand to assist you!)
Will you join us?
We need a massive campaign to immunize students, get teachers and staff boosters, and make vaccination mandatory. A safe return to school includes improving ventilation, smaller class sizes, and consultation with teachers, families and unions, to ensure that kids can get back to learning in person and we can keep our community safe.
Families and education workers deserve better - join us in sending a clear message to Doug Ford: schools should be a priority!
