Congratulations to Suze Morrison on being nominated as our candidate for the 2022 provincial election, and a huge thank you to everyone who attended our virtual nomination meeting last night. Our Toronto Centre NDP riding association has never been in a stronger position, and it’s thanks to every one of you.

In April, New Democrats from across Canada will meet virtually online for the federal NDP Convention. This is an important moment for our Party. With our Leader, Jagmeet Singh gaining momentum, we are ready to lay the groundwork for great things ahead. Let’s make sure we have lots of delegates ready to be a part of it!
We will be selecting the 6 members of Toronto Centre to represent us in this year’s virtual Federal Convention which is being held April 9-11, 2021.
You do not have to attend the meeting or be selected as a delegate to submit a resolution for consideration. Please send all resolutions, whether you can attend the meeting or not, to [email protected] by February 1, 2021, for submission.
As well, delegations to Convention must have gender parity. This means that each EDA delegation must be composed of at least 50% women.
Zoom link for the event will be sent on the day of the event.
Email for resolution submission: [email protected]

Join us on February 4th, 2021 as we nominate our candidate for the next provincial election for Toronto Centre — Suze Morrison. We will be joined by special guests Peter Tabuns, Marit Stiles, and Fred Hahn.
Suze Morrison is revved up to keep fighting for Toronto Centre.
COVID-19 has exposed and exacerbated the systematic economic and health inequalities that exist at the heart of our society.
But, while Suze Morrison, Andrea Horwath and the NDP caucus have fought to protect Ontarians, Doug Ford and his conservative government have simply abandoned those that they were elected to serve.
They failed to put together a coherent strategy to fight this pandemic. They failed those living and working in long-term care homes. They failed to support small business owners. They failed to support renters. And they failed to put together a safe return to school plan.
In fact, they've been more interested in laying the groundwork for a snap election than getting to work supporting our communities through a pandemic.
Doug Ford may deny it, but we know that they're considering a snap election if they think it will benefit them.
Friends, we have to be ready.
With this in mind, the Toronto Centre NDP is moving ahead with our nomination of Suze Morrison as our candidate for the next election.
Toronto Centre NDP members are invited to join us at 6pm via Zoom on February 4, 2021.
To register for the event, please RSVP on the the Ontario NDP website.
Ontario needs a progressive NDP government to lead us as we build back better — it's within our reach if we work together to make it happen.
Please join us as we begin the process of re-electing Suze Morrison in Toronto Centre and electing new NDP MPPs across Ontario to form the government that our province needs and deserves.
Registration will begin at 5:45 p.m., and the meeting will be called to order at 6:00pm.
We hope to see you there!

Congratulations to Brian Chang on his successful nomination as the NDP candidate for the 2020 Toronto Centre by-election. Congratulations Brian!
